'Attending classes at Hua Hsia Chinese School has been an invaluable experience for my three children ages, 10, 9 and 5.  They were initially reluctant to attend "more school" on Sunday afternoons, however they now enjoy what they are learning with their classmates.  A large part of their enjoyment comes from liking their dedicated and caring teachers, who have been well selected by the Principal and Founder, Katja Ting.  Each one is passionate about teaching Chinese to his/her students.  We have found the class structure, administration, and extracurricular events to be organized, and the school promotes cultural events and friendly competitions. One unique aspect of the curricula is the use of the IQ Chinese software which enables students to type pinyin and Chinese characters and hear correct pronunciation in the convenience of the home.  Using computers is a fun format for children, and in combination with textbooks and workbooks, helps them to build up their vocabulary and correct grammar.  Our family is very thankful to be a part of the Hua Hsia school and look forward to seeing our children progress in their Chinese.'
